Capital Citybus Leyland Olympian double deck bus 166 (K888TKS, Northern Counties bodywork, built in 1993) at some sort of event. Showing line 123 Ilford High Road.
Leyland stopped making buses in 1991, having been bought by Volvo in March 1988. In September 1988 Volvo dropped the Leyland name. I was writing the Volvo electrical service manuals, including those for Volvo-built Olympians (which were much revised from the Leyland design) around that time, so I believe that this is actually a Volvo-built Olympian.

Hi Peter, You are right, of course, that something is wrong here. I got the info from a site called www.buslistsontheweb.co.uk. However I copied some of the info wrongly, according to this site this bus was built in 1991/92 and was one of the last Leyland Olympians to be built. See www.buslistsontheweb.co.uk/chassis/lists/chassis344.asp?MenuType=Chassis&Manu=Leyland for the details.
