Cleveland Transit S344 (9546PT) 1975. This is a former Saltburn Motor Services Bedford SB5 with Duple Super Vega C41F bodywork.Cleveland Transit acquired this operator in August 1974, and with it came 22 vehicles including an ex Yorkshire Woolen AEC Regent V. The Bedford in this picture was new one of a pair which had been new to Venture Transport of Newcastle upon Tyne. It came to Saltburn Motor Services in 1964, and was in Cleveland Transit livery by May 1975. Withdrawn in December 1977, it passed to one of the Barnsley dealers for scrap.It is seen here in the yard of its home depot.
